SUZANNE SPEHR
REDD Team Designer, CMS Sports, Inc.
Suzanne earned her Registered Nursing Diploma in 1973 from Massillon City Hospital School of Nursing and Kent State University in Ohio. She met and married her husband, Richard, in Columbus, working with him on Design projects that he did for OSU while he finished school, then moved with him to FL in 1977, where they raised 2 daughters.
Suzanne worked in Hospitals in the Pinellas County Area from 1977 through 1982, then Home Health Agencies in the county from 1982 through 1997. She changed careers in 1997 to work more closely with computers, working for First American Title Insurance’s Information Technology Department where she eventually became a Project Coordinator, Facilities Coordinator and Warehouse Manager.
Suzanne continues to work on her degree in Engineering Technology studies, having schooled at both USF and SPC, studied SolidWorks Design and is now a SolidWorks Designer.
She volunteers also at SPC to assist Students in SolidWorks and with Pinellas Park Middle School with the Science department, working with the teenagers who wish to be engineers.
Suzanne has been a seamstress almost all her life, and has skills in most kinds of needlework, design of clothing, costumes and other cloth items. At CMS, she combines her SolidWorks Design and project management skills with her sewing skills to do many of the cut and sew projects for CMS. Richard and Suzanne have been team designing medical products since 1974, and since 2008 for CMS.
